Walnut Leaf Wine, The sue that lingers in your mouth
Ingredients
- 1 good handful walnut leaves
- 3 lb. demerara sugar
- Yeast
- 1 gallon water
- 1 lb. honey
Method
Dissolve the sugar and honey in boiling water. Put the leaves in a bowl and pour on the boiling syrup.
Leave twenty-four hours, strain and add the yeast to the liquid. Ferment, store and bottle as directed for Bramble Tip Wine.
