Ingredients
1½ tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons all purpose white flour
1 tablespoon sesame
1 tablespoon almonds (blanched and finely chopped)
Cinnamon (optional)
Method
1. Heat the flour in a non-stick pan for 4-5 minutes until it gets a little brown. Add a little water in the pan and stir the mixture vigorously with a wooden ladle to dissolve the clots.
2. Pour the honey and rest of the water in a pot. Bring the mixture to the boil over moderate heat for 3-4 minutes until the honey dissolves. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and stir vigorously. Cook while you stir continuously until the cream comes together. Remove the pot from fire and let it stand to cool down for 10 minutes. Portion the cream into small bowls and sprinkle each with sesame and ground almonds.
