Yields 3 pounds
¾ cup margarine
12 ounces white baking chips
3 cups sugar
7 ounces marshmallow creme
⅔ cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon Black Walnut flavoring
1 cup Black Walnuts
Method
Mix margarine, sugar, and milk in heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan; bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees F., stirring constantly; remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips until melted; add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9X13 inch pan. Cool at room temperature; cut into squares.
