Blue Cheese and Broccoli Strata

This recipe is for a hearty vegetarian breakfast casserole with blue cheese and broccoli that satisfies all tastes and it is so deliciously creamy that it is simply mouth watering.


1 cup blue cheese
1 cup milk
cup melted butter
12 eggs
1 package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 package shredded cheddar cheese
1 loaf white bread, sliced
1 tsp minced garlic
tsp dried thyme
tsp dried savory
tsp salt
tsp black pepper


Serves: 8


1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter and milk.

4. Stir in the blue cheese.

5. Cover the bottom of the baking pan with bread slices.

6. Arrange the broccoli over the bread slices.

7. Spread half of the blue cheese mixture over.

8. Arrange another bread slices layer.

9. Spread the remaining blue cheese mixture.

10. Top with cheddar cheese.

11. Bake until golden and puffy, about minutes.

12. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
