Blue Cheese Coleslaw

If you are looking for a nice and comforting lunch and you happen to be a blue cheese lover, in that case you will absolutely love this recipe.


cup cider vinegar
cup mayonnaise
cup crumbled blue cheese
cup sour cream
3 tbsp white sugar
1 package shredded coleslaw mix
cup finely chopped sweet onion
Salt and pepper, to taste


Serves: 6


1. In a bowl, place the onion and coleslaw mix.

2. In a saucepan combine the vinegar and sugar with some salt.

3. Bring to a boil.

4. Pour the vinegar mixture over the coleslaw.

5. Toss to combine it well.

6. Let rest for about 15 minutes.

7. In a colander, drain the coleslaw and return it to the bowl.

8. Stir in the blue cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise.

9. Season with some salt and pepper, to taste.

10. Refrigerate for at least one hour then serve.
