Spinach Cheese Manicotti

Prepare this recipe and enjoy one of the best cheesy meals you have ever tried. These spinach and cheese manicotti are so rich in filling and the best part is that they can be made in advance and refrigerated overnight.


1 package manicotti shells
1 package chopped frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 egg
1 container ricotta cheese
cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
cup minced onion
1 cups water
2 jars spaghetti sauce
tsp garlic powder
2 tsp minced fresh parsley
tsp black pepper


Serves: 6


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Combine the spinach, ricotta, egg and onion in a bowl.

3. Add garlic powder, parsley and pepper.

4. Stir in ¼ cup parmesan and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

5. In another bowl, combine the water and spaghetti sauce.

6. In the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup of the prepared sauce.

7. Stuff the manicotti shells with the spinach and ricotta mixture.

8. Arrange them in the dish.

9. Spread the remaining sauce over.

10. Top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

11. Bake for about 50 minutes, until soft then serve.
