Cheese Grits

If you are looking for something that is easy to make, delicious and cheesy to serve for brunch, look no more. These cheese grits are amazingly pleasant, slightly hot and they will surely be enjoyed by your family.


3 eggs
1 package processed and cubed American cheese
cup margarine
1⅓ cup hominy grits
6 cups water
2 tsp hot pepper sauce
2 tsp salt


Serves: 12


1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Place the water in a pot over medium heat.

3. Bring to a boil.

4. Add the grits.

5. Reduce the heat to low.

6. Stir until the grits thicken.

7. When thick, add the eggs and margarine.

8. Stir in the cheese, hot sauce and salt.

9. Stir constantly, until the cheese is melted.

10. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking pan.

11. Bake for about 45 minutes.

12. Cut into squares and serve.
