Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

Try this cheesy and crunchy goodness as a comforting appetizer and enjoy every single bite of it. This hash brown casserole is simple to make, delicious and good for any time of the day.


2 packages frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 pint sour cream
2 cans cream of chicken soup
16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
cup finely chopped onion
cup melted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste


1 sleeve buttery round crackers, crushed
cup melted butter
cup grated parmesan cheese

Makes: 1 - 9x13 inch dish


1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.

3. In a bowl, combine all of the casserole ingredients.

4. Spread the mixture into the greased baking dish.

5. Combine the ¼ cup butter and crackers.

6. Sprinkle over the potatoes.

7. Bake for about an hour, or until browned on top.

8. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. 9. Bake for 5-10 more minutes.
