Spicy Chinese Style Chicken Wings


1 pound of chicken wings
2 tbsp. of sugar, white
cup of soy sauce
cup of rice wine
3 tbsp. of chilli garlic sauce
1 tbsp. of sesame oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
cup of water

Makes: 1 pound of chicken wings total


Preparation time: 20 minutes


The first thing that you will want to do is rinse dry your chicken wings by rinsing them and then patting them with a few paper towels to prepare them.

Then whisk together your sugar, sauces, wine, garlic and oil in a large sized mixing bowl. Add your chicken wings into this mixture and toss gently to evenly coat in the mixture.

Next heat up a lightly oiled large sized skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Pour in your chicken wings, homemade sauce, and water. Cover your pan and allow to cook until your chicken wings are no longer pink. Turn your wings occasionally and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes.

After this time continue cooking your wings until your homemade sauce is thick in consistency. This should take about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately with sauce.
