Wonton Soup

There are many classical Chinese dishes that you can make today, but none are as traditional as this dish. It is a very light, yet filling soup.

8 cups of chicken broth
3 tbsp. of soy sauce
2 tsp. of sesame oil
2 tsp. of rice wine vinegar
2 tsp. of lemon juice, fresh
2 tsp. of garlic, minced
1 tsp. of chilli garlic sauce, sriracha preferable
Pinch of salt to taste
8 cups of water
20 wontons

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Serves: 4

Combine all of your ingredients together in a large sized soup pan except for your wontons and your water over medium heat. Let your soup reach a boil before setting it down to a simmer. This should take about 10 minutes.

While your broth is simmering, bring your water to a boil using a separate medium to large sized pot.

Cook your wontons in your boiling water until there are thoroughly heated through. This should take about 5 minutes.

Then remove the cooked wontons from water and add to your soup.

Let your soup cook for an additional 5 minutes before removing from heat and serving immediately.
