Roasted Black Walnuts

1 lb. Black Walnuts
1 Tbsp. (or to taste) Fine Salt
2 Tbsp. Black Walnut Oil or Olive Oil


Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Add 2 Tbsp. oil to a regular size cookie sheet to cover the bottom. Add Black Walnuts on top of oil, and stir lightly to coat nuts in oil. Spread nuts in a single layer. Add a fine layer of salt to Black Walnuts. Salt must be the consistency of powdered sugar to stick to the nuts. If needed, put salt in a blender before adding to the nuts. Bake for 10 minutes in oven. Stir nuts, then bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and drain nuts on a paper towel.
