Ingredients

kg (1lb 2oz) French beans
250g (9oz) tomatoes

French Dressing:

3 x 15ml tbsp (3tbsp) oil to 1 x 15ml tbsp (1tbsp) wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Wash beans, slice, and boil in lightly salted water until tender.


2. Place well-drained and cooled beans in a salad bowl and carefully mix in the sliced tomato. Pour French Dressing over.

French dressing is simple to make and frequently used. Oil and vinegar are mixed in quantities as specifed in the ingredients.
