Chilli Bean Bread

Ingredients

Yields: 1 loaf/10 slices

1 tablespoon active dry yeast
cup yellow cornmeal
3 tablespoons non-fat dry milk
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 cup (10oz) fat-free refried beans *
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
cup egg substitute
1 tablespoon honey
⅔ cup water

* canned or reconstituted from dry mix


Method

Place all ingredients in the order listed in the bread machine. Program machine for basic bread setting, and press start. All flours are approximate measures. You may use more or less, depending on the weight and absorbency of your flour.
