Cauliflower Polonaise


1 medium cauliflower
Generous pint ( cup) cheese sauce
2 tablespoons (3 tablespoons) fresh breadcrumbs
2 oz. ( cup) cooked ham, chopped


Serves: 4


Separate the cauliflower into florets and arrange them in a heat resistant bowl, so that they resemble a whole cauliflower upside down. Add 6 tablespoons (½ cup) salted water, cover and cook on HIGH for 6-8 minutes until just tender.

Take care not to overcook cauliflower or it will become soft and loose its texture. Drain and turn out carefully into a heat resistant dish and coat with the sauce. Mix the breadcrumbs and ham together and sprinkle over the top. Brown under the grill.
