Oyster Casino

Ingredients

2 dozen oysters, freshly opened
3 slices bacon
1 oz. (¼ cup) seasoned breadcrumbs
1½ tablespoons (2 tablespoons) finely chopped onion
1½ tablespoons (2 tablespoons) finely chopped green pepper
1½ tablespoons (2 tablespoons) finely chopped parsley
1½ tablespoons (2 tablespoons) finely chopped celery
½ oz. (1 tablespoon) butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Few drops Tabasco sauce
Paprika, to garnish

Method

Place 2 oysters in the deep half of one shell. Repeat to fill 12 shells. Arrange on a paper plate. Put the bacon between 2 sheets of absorbent kitchen paper and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes. Chop the bacon and combine with all the remaining ingredients. Spoon over the oysters. Cook on HIGH for 4 minutes. Garnish with a sprinkling of paprika and serve hot.
